Superstar Mahesh Babu's Bharat Ane Nenu and Ram Charan's Rangasthalam are raking in huge moolah at the box office. Both the films are doing phenomenal business in the overseas markets as well as Chennai box office.

Bharat Ane Nenu fetched Rs 27 lakhs while Rangasthalam has collected 24 lakhs at the Chennai box office. Both the films have created their own records in Tamil Nadu. According to sources, Rangasthalam has been pulled out of Chennai theatres after one week of its run due to the strike. Recently, Tamil Nadu distributors called off their strike making the way for release of Bharat Ane Nenu. And the film is roaring at the box office.

Bharat Ane Nenu and Rangasthalam have garnered appreciation from the critics and loved by the audiences. Both the films are faring well at the ticket window since its opening day. Bharat Ane Nenu and Rangasthalam has garnered huge buzz among the movie buffs starting from movie posters to trailers until the films release in theatres.

For the first time, Mahesh Babu is seen playing a Chief Minister in a film while Charan portrayed a deaf person in Rangasthalam. Both the actors have chosen different roles and proved their mettle yet again at the box office that these stars can pull off any role to entertain the audience.

Bharat Ane Nenu is directed by Koratala Siva and features Kiara Advani in the lead role where she will soon be seen opposite Ram Charan's untitled film.

Rangasthalam is directed by Sukumar also stars Samantha, Aadhi, Jagapathi Babu and Prakash Raj in pivotal roles. Rangasthalam has turned out to be the highest grossing film at the overseas box office holding third place after Baahubali franchise. People are betting big time for Bharat Ane Nenu to beat Rangasthalam records at the US box office. Finally, Bharat Ane Nenu and Rangasthalam set the box office on fire in Chennai on its opening day itself. It is a rare feat for Telugu film to fare well in other regions and it has happened for two telugu films Bharat Ane Nenu and Rangasthalam.
