Berth confirmed for Chiranjeevi in Union Cabinet?

The induction of new faces in the Union Council of Ministers is mostly expected from Andhra Pradesh. It become more evident  after the resignation of External Affairs Minister S M Krishna.

It is being said that Ambika Soni and Mukul Wasnik are ready to quit the government in favour of party work. It is being said that during the reshuffle on Sunday, a Union Cabinet berth is confirmed for actor-turned politician, Chiranjeevi.

As per the reports Chiranjeevi was preferred mainly because of his 18 MLAs who provide stability to the Congress government in Andhra Pradesh after the merger of his party PRP. A close aide of Chiranjeevi said that the actor was summoned to the country's capital. Chiranjeevi is likely to leave to Delhi on Friday evening.

Speculation is rife that former chief minister K Vijay Bhaskar Reddy's son Surya Prakash Reddy  and one MP from Telengana region are likely to be made Union ministers.
Sources in the Congress party confirmed that the High Command has asked all of them to be available in Delhi till Sunday.
