Bandh continues in Medak

Normal life was disrupted on Friday in Medak due to the bandh called by TRS to protest the Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy’s statement on the Bayyaram mines.

Hundreds of TRS activists were taken into custody when they staged dharnas at the bus depots of Medak, Siddipet, and other areas in the district, police sources said. 

Tension prevailed when unidentified protestors set two buses on the fire in Sangareddy in the morning.

Shops, markets, education institutions business establishments were mostly closed in the district.
