Balakrishna at Chandrababu’s one-day fast

Vijayawada: Tollywood star and TDP MLA Nandamuri Balakrishna attacked PM Narendra Modi using highly provocative words. Balakrishna, AP Chief Minister's brother-in-law and father-in-law of AP minister, Nara Lokesh, was speaking at the one-day fast undertaken by Chandrababu.

Balakrishna compared PM Modi to Shikhandi from The Mahabharata and said that he would be chased and hounded out. His brother-in-law and AP Chief Minister, Chandrababu Naidu seemed to look on amused by the actor-MLA's comments.

Adressing PM Modi, Balakrishna said that since they had run out of all options in traditional belief except the last (sama or reconciliation, dana or gifts, also described as a 'price', bheda or persuasion and trickery and finally danda or taking to arms) they now had to resort to 'danda' or direct conflict. "Modi, who cheated us, should be chased out", he said harshly.

Balakrishna added that resentment against Modi was rising all over the country."Modi, can't you hear the cry of the Telugus? Learn Telugu first. Also learn how to respect elders. Importantly, learn how to love your wife. Don't listen to your sycophants. You're a traitor who betrayed Andhra Pradesh. We'll smoke you out even if you hide in a bunker, thrash you and hound you out. Your BJP didn't have two seats at one time; it won't get a single seat the next time. Stop indulging in cheap politics. You are behaving like a Shikhandi."
