Balayya too joins anti-Modi tirade

After AP CM Chandrababu Naidu, it is now the turn of his brother-in-law and Hindupur MLA Nandamuri Balakrishna to express his disappointment over budgetary allocation to Andhra Pradesh.

Talking to mediapersons on Monday, Balayya Babu said injustice was done to the state in the Union Budget. "Only Rs 100 crore have been earmarked for the Polavaram irrigation scheme. How can the project will be completed with such a meagre allocation?," he said.
He was in Anantapur to inspect the works of Handri-Neeva project.
The actor-turned-politician also demanded that AP be given special status immediately.
" Public will revolt against the Central Government if it hurts the sentiments of the people," he cautioned the Centre.
