Balakrishna was last seen in Jai Simha which became the first blockbuster hit of 2018. He is gearing up for another flick which will be directed by Teja. Balakrishna's upcoming film is very special to him as it is a biopic of the late NTR. The film has already gone on floors and the movie was launched on March 29 by Vice President Venkaiah Naidu in Hyderabad.

The project is only getting bigger with each passing day for various reasons. One is for its amazing star cast. Now, this piece of information is sure to bowl you over!

If a grapevine doing the rounds in filmnagar circles is anything to go by, then Balakrishna and the filmmakers are planning to rope in Bollywood actors to work in this prestigious project. Earlier, there was news that the makers had signed on Vidya Balan to play a lead role in the film and she was all set to reprise the role of Bhasavatarakam while Paresh Rawal was finalised for Narendla Bhaskar Rao's role. We are not sure though if the actors have signed on the dotted line.

Well, no prizes for guessing. In the 90s NTR-Sridevi were one of the best on-screen pairs in Tollywood. If reports are to go by anything, the makers are planning to rope in Deepika Padukone to play Sridevi's role in the NTR biopic. So far, nothing has been materialised, but there's a strong buzz for us to believe this could be on cards. If Deepika does give her nod to this film then this will be her debut in Tollywood.

It's worth mentioning here that a few months back there were talks of the leggy lass being roped in to play the female lead opposite Prabhas in saaho. But things didn't and the role went to Shraddha Kapoor for reasons best known to the makers. Now, if she agrees to act in the NTR biopic, then Balayya will surely overtake Prabhas.

Deepika won everyone's heart in Padmavati which did tremendous business at the box office. In Bollywood, Deepika is one of the highly paid actresses. Now, if she commits to a Telugu film there are high chances that she could charge big bucks as her remuneration for even if it is a cameo in the NTR biopic.
