Balayya-NTR rift out in the open

What happens when every member of the family pursues a same profession? You can expect jealousy, stiff competition and of course internal rivalry which is inevitable. The same thing seems to be happening in the NTR family. With a new member from the family joining politics every other day, the desire to establish their power has led to conflict. Worse, the rift is there for everyone to see.

The war between Bala Krishna and Jr NTR has reached its peak in recent times. Along with the two actors, their fans too have split into two groups.

Although differences between the two actors did exist from the beginning, recent episodes have brought it to the fore. The latest episode happened on Saturday during NTR's Vijayawada visit. It's a known fact that Jr NTR is the ambassador for a jewellery brand. The actor was in Vijaywada to inaugurate a new showroom in the city.

Whenever NTR visits a place, it's customary for the TDP leaders to make all arrangements. And it's a general practice to put up huge TDP hoardings with cutouts and pictures of Naidu, late NTR, Jr NTR as well as Bala Krishna. However, this time around the huge banners erected in Vijayawada has the pictures of just NTR and his late grandfather.

Balakrishna is believed to have directed the party workers to remove TDP reference from all the flexis and cutouts and keep the pictures of only NTR and his grandfather. After Kodali Nani bid good bye to TDP, the differences between Balayya and NTR reached a new high. Now, Balayya is making every effort to keep tabs on NTR's movements. Some of Balayya's  plans are already implemented, it is said.

The NTR-TDP face-off was out in the open after the 2009 elections. Both Balakrishna and NTR have been trying to prove their dominance in the party. It may be recalled that Chandrababu Naidu used NTR for election campaigning. After the party's defeat, NTR was neither invited to any party activities nor given any importance. The main cause for the rift is Naidu's son and Bala Krishna's son-in law Nara Lokesh's entry into politics. Balayaa decided to give preference to his son-in law.

According to latest reports from Vijayawada, only 100 fans of NTR were allowed to receive him at the Gannavaram airport and no TDP leader was present at the airport. The flexis and cutouts only showcased Jr NTR and Sr NTR.
