Hyderabad: Chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu is portraying his government's failures as those of the bureaucrats, senior YSRCP leader Dharmana Prasada Rao said.
Addressing the media here on Friday, he said bureaucrats in Andhra Pradesh are now preferring central posting to avoid the autocratic rule of the chief minister. He cited the recent instance where a former chief secretary termed the Chief Minister Office as an extra-constitutional authority. "The Janmabhoomi programme does not have legal validity and is waste of precious resources that shows how the CMO functions as an extra-constitutional authority," he said.
The chief minister should focus on providing pensions to senior citizens and reimbursement of fees to students. Instead of promoting health and education sectors in the state, Chandrababu is more focused on promoting corporates, Dharmana Prasada Rao said.
