Babu's Anantapur tour: Police house-arrest YSRCP and CPI leaders

Anantapur police over-reacted on Monday by confining YSRCP and CPI leaders to their homes

Andhra Pradesh CM Chandrababu Naidu is on tour in Anantapur district on Monday. So, in order to avoid disturbances or problems, AP police issued orders of house arrest on YSRCP distrist head, Shankarnarayana and CPI leaders.
Polices' over-action is drawing criticism. Fearing that the leaders would question Babu on his false promises and sheshachalam killings, local TDP leaders have suggested police to confine the leaders to thier homes, which the police obliged.
Chandrababu as part of tour will do aerial survey of Handri-Neeva project and will later participate in his pet project Neeru-Chettu.
