Baahubali Screened As Opening Movie At Moscow Film Festival

Hyderabad: SS Rajamouli's epic saga Baahubali 2 raised the horizon of Indian cinema and now it attained yet another special honor. The film was screened first at Russia's 39th Moscow International Film Festival held from June 22 to 29. An exited Rajamouli tweeted on his account calling it a proud moment. The filmmaker will take part in the eight-day film festival at Moscow.

The film starring Prabhas, Rana, Anushka in the lead roles have been received well internationally too.

Rahul Bali, who has co-curated the Indian Film Festival World Wide (IFFW) that organises Indian film festivals across the globe, said the Indian films set to be screened at the festival have been chosen based on their languages to represent different parts of the country.

"We would be showcasing seven award-winning Indian films in six different languages - Assamese, Bengali, Kannada, Telugu, Gujarati and Hindi to mesmerise the world audience with the magic of Indian cinema and spreading the fragrance of India in Moscow," he said.
