B-Town Celebs Attend Rani Mukerji Father’s Prayer Meet
Actress Rani Mukerji organised a prayer meeting at the ISKCON Temple in Juhur on Wednesday for her filmmaker father who passed away at the age 84 due to health complications. Bollywood celebs among others were in attendance at the prayer meet.
Amitabh Bachchan's family, Aamir Khan with his wife Kiran Rao, Kareena along with sister Karisma Kapoor, Farah Khan, Ranveer Singh and several others attended the prayer meet.
Rani's father Ram Mukerji passed away in the early hours of last Saturday. The veteran filmmaker directed and produced Rani's debut Bengali film Biyer Phool release in 1996. He is known for his films Hum Hindustani and Leader starring Dilip Kumar and Vyjayanthimala.
He is survived by his wife Krishna Mukerji, daughter Rani Mukerji and son Raja Mukerji. The actress along with her brother on Monday immersed their father’s ashes in Sangam in Allahabad.
