Despite Telugu Desam Party's attempts to divert the debate on the deteriorating law and order situation in Andhra Pradesh, leader of the Opposition and YSRCP chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy made concerted and pointed attack.

Everytime, the TDP tried its trick of bringing in criticism of late YSR, YS Jagan raised pertinent questions and tried to put the debate back on the rails.

Here are some of the issues that YS Jagan raised during the hot and acrimonious debate:

When murders take place moments before Chandrababu's swearing-in, how can you wash your hands of them?
What assurances will you give to the kin of the YSRCP activists killed by TDP goons?
We demand a thorough probe by the sitting judge of High Court into the killings of 14 YSRCP activists ever since the TDP took over reins of power.The culprits should be handed out exemplary punishment and a compensation of Rs 20 lakh should be given to the family members of the victims. This will act as a deterrent for further attacks.
Why do you dig the past instead of a debate on the murders that occurred in the last three months? Why don't you think of how to help the victims' families? If we dig into the past, topic gets diverted and justice would elude the victims.
11th accused in the murder case of Vangaveeti Mohana Ranga Rao, is sitting as TDP MLA in this assembly. We can talk about this. But, we didn't do it because we did not want any diversion.
The ruling party is trying to snuff out democracy even within the precincts of the august house.
Has there been a similar case of where the government has unleashed a reign of terror as is happening in AP?
The speaker is allowing the TDP members to bluff and lie at will. He is allowing them to continue with their tirade. Why is the Speaker is giving permission to TDP members to continue with their innuendo and falsehood?
Why did the speaker allow TDP MLAs to use unparliamentary words for 19 times?. They called us murderers, monsters and rowdies. Are these not unparliamentary?
Even as we are debating on the law and order situation in the Assembly, two of our party men have been brutally murdered.
The court has already punished the guilty involved in Paritala Ravi's murder case. Chandrababu knew the truth. That was why he admitted JC Brothers into the TDP and gave them party tickets. After all, they were also accused in Paritala Ravi murder case!
YSRCP voice is being deliberately gagged. We could not get a chance to voice our concerns in the assembly. The Speaker has given more opportunity to the ruling party activists only.
