Assault case filed against Rama Naidu's grandson

The city police on Friday registered a case against Abhiram, grand son of producer Rama Naidu and son of Suresh Babu for attacking an engineer.

According to sources, Abhiram in the morning went to Civil Engineer Raviteja's house picked up an argument and then beat him up. Raviteja sustained injuries in the attack.

The police were informed and they reached the spot soon and tried to stop Abhiram from further attacking the engineer.  Not caring for the police Abhiram continued the assault.

Sources said Raviteja complained to Abhiram when he was playing music in a loud manner, irked by this Abhiram and his friends attacked the engineer.

The Banjara hills booked him under IPC sections of 447, 223, 342, 506 for manhandling a government servant while discharging duty. Abhiram is absconding, the police said.

Known Tollywood hero Daggubati Rana is the elder brother of Abhiram.
