Assailants Set B.Tech Graduate On Fire
Vizianagaram: In a shocking incident, two unidentified assailants set a woman on fire when she set out on her morning walk. The incident occurred at Dwarapudi in Vizianagaram district on Friday. According to the police, the victim was identified as Ashwini, a B.Tech graduate. Ashwini, who resides in Pullaiahpet, came to Dwarapudi for a walk on Friday morning.
Two unidentified men attacked her from behind. They doused her with petrol and set her on fire. Later, locals noticed her condition and rushed her to a nearby hospital with burn injuries. She is is stated to be critical, according to the police.
The police registered a case and swung into action to nab the culprits. Ashwini, who had completed her B.Tech this year, had been looking for a job. The police said that she did not know who the assailants were and did not have any disputes or issues with anyone.
