Hyderabad,  The representatives of recognised parties from Andhra Pradesh would meet the Group of Ministers (GoM), constituted on the issue of state bifurcation, today and tomorrow.

Parties, scheduled to meet GoM in the morning session on Tuesday are:

MIM  represented by Assauddin Owasi from 11 to 11:30 a.m.

He told reporters after the meeting that Hyderabad as common capital or union territory was not acceptable to his party. He also explained to GoM that keeping law and order in Hyderabad and other subjects with the centre would be unconstitutional.

He demanded that a part of Hyderabad be made an interim capital of the two states with a clear timeframe to develop a new capital of Seemandhra.

The MIM chief, who submitted a supplementary memorandum to GoM,  termed as 'absolute rubbish' that Seemandhra (Rayalaseema and coastal Andhra) people living in Hyderabad would face a threat after bifurcation.

Demanding protection for Muslims and Christians in Telangana, Owaisi claimed that they and not Seemandhra people face threat as Sangh Parivar and BJP would grow stronger in the separate state.
