YSRCP leaders have strongly criticised Araku MP Kothapalli Geetha's attempts to get pally with the TDP.

Geetha recently met Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N.Chandrababu Naidu recently and kept the party in the dark about it.

Geetha 's explanation that she has met the chief minister and other ministers only to discuss about the developmental works in her constituency has not cut much ice. The YSRCP workers argue that her hunger for power has driven her towards the TDP.

YSRCP women MLAs said that Geetha was planning to join TDP. “Geetha is saying that the meet took place only to discuss about the developmental works in her constituency. If that is true, the MP has to reply how many times she has responded on the issues relating to tribals,” asked the MLAs.

The YSRCP leaders are saying that the party gave her a chance to contest for Lok Sabha eventhough she did not have the ability of winning even as a ward member.

YSRCP Rampachodavaram MLA Vantala Rajeswari and party leader Udaya Bhaskar said Geetha had always been known for her duplicity.

Kurupam MLA Pushpa Srivani commented that Geetha meeting the chief minister is certainly wrong. Paderu MLA G.Eswari said that the tribals will teach her a lesson.
