APSRTC bus fares to go up today

Even as the Assembly session concluded today without transacting any business, the government is ready to burden the masses  by make bus travel dearer by increasing the APSRTC fares. 

The government is all set to increase the bus fares with effect from midnight in all likelihood

It is said that for Pallevelugu buses the price hike will be to the tune of  6 paisa per kilometer, 10 paisa for Express and  Deluxe buses and 14 paisa for Super Luxury buses.

With the hike in diesel prices, there is no alternative for the APSRTC except to resort to an increase in its fares
