APPSC board member dies of heart attack

Dr B V Somasekhar, board member of Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) died of massive heart attack on Monday in Hyderabad.

Dr Somasekhar died on the way to hospital from his Somajiguda residence after he received severe stroke. He was declared brought dead at the hospital.  He started as law lecturer in Osmania in 1989 and became registrar of NIFT in 1995 and later promoted as director in 2000. He also served as Dy Director General of Apparel Export Promotion Council in 2007 and later worked as vice-chancellor of Gyan Vihar University in 2010. He has been chosen as member of APPSC Board in September, 2012.
