Appeals for voting on T Bill rejected, YSRCP stage a walk out

Hyderabad, YSR Congress party walked out of the state assembly on Friday, after their appeals for  voting on Telangana Bill, before discussions fell on deaf ears.

According to reports, YSRCP honorary president YS Vijayamma objected to discuss on AP Re-organisation Bill. She said how can discussion on T bill take place when the majority is against the same.

Vijayamma pointing out that the bifurcation is happening against people's interest, also demanded for voting on the Bill.

We protest the manner in which the Centre is seeking to divide the state despite majority of people opposing it. We also protest the non-consideration of the Justice Srikrishna Committee report on the bifurcation issue, Vijayamma said.

She also protested non-adoption of a resolution by the Assembly opposing the bifurcation. She sought an assurance from Leader of the House N Kiran Kumar Reddy that voting would be taken up against the draft AP Reorganisation Bill-2013.

Our party has its fears and doubts on the Bill, Vijayamma added.

Accusing the Government of misusing Article 3, Vijayamma along with YSRCP MLAs walked out in protest.
