AP soldier Vinayakam's body reaches Putalapattu

The body of Vinayakam, an army jawan from Andhra Pradesh, who was killed in the IAF Mi-17 helicopter crash during a rescue mission near Gaurikund in Uttarakhand, reached Tirupati  on Tuesday afternoon.

Several party leaders paid their last respects to the departed soul and offered their condolences to his family members.

Later,  his dead body was shifted to Chinnabanda palli of Putalapattu mandal. Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy directed the district collector to hand over Rs 5 lakh Ex-gratia to the family members of the Army jawan.
