AP Intermediate First Year Results Declared

Addressing a press conference, the minister said that 62% of students who had appeared in the exams had cleared it. Again, Krishna district tops the list while West Godavari comes second with Guntur behind at third place. YSR District has recorded 48% pass percentage coming last.

The Andhra Pradesh State Board of Intermediate Education released the inter second year results yesterday at 3 pm and the results are now available on the official website of the board. The results were unveiled by the AP education minister Ganta Srinivas Rao. Overall, 73 per cent pass percentage has been recorded with girls topping the exam. Krishna district of AP has secured the highest pass percentage followed by Nellore and Guntur. Students, who are not satisfied with their rank can apply for supplementary/improvement exams,Which are to be held in last week of May.

Last year, the results of both first and second year were released on the same day. To avoid any technical glitch caused by burden on the server since all the results are online, the AP Intermediate board decided to declare the results on different days.
