AP HC adjourns Jana Reddy case

The Andhra Pradesh High court adjourned till tomorrow the hearing on the petition filed by  a social activist against panchayat raj minister K Jana Reddy seeking a probe by the CBI and ED under the Prevention of Corruption Act and Prevention of Money Laundering Act.

The court bench had ordered transfer of the Jana case to another bench. It may be recalled that Social activist VV Rao had filed Public Interest Petition (PIL) against Jana Reddy in the Court alleging that he had amassed wealth through illegal means and demanded a high-level probe to unearth facts.
