AP Express to become Telangana Express

The Hyderabad-New Delhi AP Express would soon be renamed as Telangana Express.

Union urban development minister M Venkaiah Naidu on Friday said that soon the name of Hyderabad–New Delhi– Hyderabad AP Express will be changed to Telangana Express and Andra Pradesh will get a new express train.

It may be recalled here that Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao has requested Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu to change the name of AP Express to Telangana Express. He wrote a letter in this regard to the railway ministry. It is said that the railway ministry is all set to run a new express between Vijaywada and Delhi.
