AP Employees’ Parting Gift, Ransack T-office

Hyderabad: Employees of AP Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan, while vacating their offices on Wednesday, ransacked the offices of their Telangana counterparts.

Furniture, doors, electric equipment and workstations were damaged by the AP employees, according to a complaint lodged by the Telangana Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan employees.

Besides furniture, doors and electric equipment, they also damaged workstations, according to a complaint lodged with the government by the Telangana Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan employees on Thursday. In the complaint, A. Bhaskar Rao, additional state project director of SSA-Telangana, stated that even the bathrooms were not spared. “For the last one week AP SSA staff was busy packing their files etc. as their office was supposed to be shifted to their home state. We had no clue about the damage until our watchman opened the lock today,” he said.

The Sarva Shiksha Abhiya offices of both AP and TS were functioning from the same building in SCERT premises, until recently.
