The results of Andhra Pradesh Eamcet 2018 were declared today by the AP Human Resources and Development minister Ganta Srinivas Rao.
The AP Education minister Ganta Srinivasa Rao declared the AP Eamcet Results 2018 in Vijayawada today.
He said the total pass percentage in AP Eamcet 2018 exams was 72.28. Some 63,800 agriculture aspirants cleared the exams, which is 60% lower than last year. The minister said that 1,36,790 seats were available in engineering stream.He said that 53000 seats remained vacant last year while adding that 84495 seats were filled up.
The total number of passouts in AP Eamcet 2018 is said to be 138017. Ganta said, he had received 224 objections this year.
According to reports, minister Ganta Srinivas declared the Andhra Pradesh Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test (Eamcet) Results for the year 2018 in Vijayawada today (Wednesday, May 2,2018).
The AP Eamcet results was announced at the scheduled time of 12 pm this noon.
Earlier, the state council of higher education had planned to unveil the results on May 5. But the board is releasing the results ahead of the scheduled date. So, candidates who are waiting for the results can keep an eye on the site to get results soon after its release.
The Andhra Pradesh State Council for Higher Education (APCHE) is responsible for monitoring and controling of the AP EAMCET examination process. The Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Kakinada (JNTUK) had held entrance exams for different streams between April 22 and 25th on behalf of Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE). The JNTUK conducted the AP Eamcet for engineering candidates between April 22 and April 24 while agriculature aspirants appeared for the AP Eamcet 2018 exams on April 25.
After that, the university had also released the preliminary answer keys and called for representations till April 28, 2018. The Master Question Papers, Preliminary Keys and Students’ Response Sheets can be accessed even now on the official website. If not already done, candidates can download them.
Students seeking admission into various courses like Agriculture, MBBS and engineering had appeared for this exam. Over 2.74 lakhs students appeared for the test. Out of these, 1.98 lakh students appeared for engineering stream while the remaining 75,550 students have registered for agriculture and other courses.
Along with the AP eamcet rank for the year 2018, the cut off marks will also be released tomorrow.

The AP Eamcet is held online since last year (2017). The Andhra Pradesh government had also announced that students can appear for all the CETs viz. AP ICET, AP ED CET, AP LAWCET, AP PGCET online.
According to Ch. Saibabu, EAMCET convener, the quick declaration of the AP EAMCET Results 2018 was because of the online mode of examinations.
The AP EAMCET Results would be used as a criteria to admit students into professional courses in Andhra Pradesh's private and government colleges.
