AP cabinet meet ends, no mention of loan waiver

The meeting of Andhra Pradesh cabinet ends in Hyderabad on Thursday. It is very pathetic that the cabinet did not discuss on loan waiver of farmers when the farmers are eagerly waiting on waiving off their loans.

The meet took place at AP CM Camp Office at Lake View Guest House in the city. These are the decisions that were taken in the meet.

·         Decision to acquire 2000 MW power

·         Reforms in agriculture sector

·         MPEOs replaced ideal farmers, one MPEO for every 1000 hectares

·         100 percent drip irrigation in Anantapur and West Godavari districts

·         Removal of 3000 field assistants who are facing allegations, cabinet to take decision on others

·         Target to place Andhra Pradesh in top 3 by 2020

·         Decision to write letter to Telangana CM for early EAMCET counseling
