Another TDP MLA In Land Grab Allegations

Visakhapatnam: Even before the TDP government could wriggle out from the Vizag land scam, another case of land-grab by another TDP leader has come to light in Visakhapatnam district. Ruling TDP MLA from Anakapalli Govinda Satyanarayana landed in a fresh row when two woman lodged a complaint with the police accusing him of land grab.

A woman, who runs a small business, took a loan from a financier said to be very close to the MLA. Though she has been paying the interest regularly, the financier , who eyed her land, has planned to grab it. The financier, who is hand-in-glove with MLA Satyanarayana, had forged the documents of her plot which also includes the house she is living in and is trying to gobble it up, she alleged. The victim's cousin was allegedly roughed up by some miscreants backed by the Anakapalli MLA. The police, who received the complaint, have began investigation.

The sensational Vizag-land scam has stirred a major controversy after names of several TDP leaders surfaced. Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu had already ordered an inquiry into the case by Special Investigation Team (SIT). The YSRCP has been demanding that the case be handed over the CBI.
