Anjali summoned to attend court on November 22

Actress Anjali on Tuesday was directed by a court in Chennai to present herself before it on November 22  in connection with the defamation case filed by Tamil director Kalanjiyam.

Dismissing the petition filed by her seeking more time to attend court proceedings, the Saidapet court warned that it will issue an arrest warrant if she fails to appear before it for next hearing.
The same court had on September 12 this year directed Anjali to present personally before it.
Even after the court's repeated summons, Anjali failed to pay heed to the court's instructions. When Anjali had given court hearing a miss last time, the court issued an arrest warrant against her.
