Anjali may be arrested for contempt of court

Looks like actress Anjali of 'Seethamma Vatkitlo Sirimalle Chettu' fame is determined on not attending the court hearings. Her absence in Saidapet court in Chennai twice in a row, proves it all.

On Tuesday, Anjali once again failed to turn up at the Madras High Court in the Habeas Corpus petition filed by her aunt Bharathi Devi.

It may be recalled that Anjali's aunt had filed Habeas Corpus petition in Madras High Court that she was missing. The court  had directed Anjali to appear before it. But she did not turn up today. Expressing anger at the police for not presenting Anjali, the court warned that she would be issued an arrest warrant.

The case will now be heard on July 9.
