An angry citizen on Monday sprinkled ink at Manish Sisodia, Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi, when he was speaking with the media.

New Delhi: An angry citizen on Monday sprinkled ink at Manish Sisodia, Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi, when he was speaking with the media after leaving LG Najeeb Jung’s residence. The attacker was immediately arrested by the police. The police said the attacker’s name is Brajesh Shukla, who said he had no political affiliation. Shukla further said that just to reveal his anger over absence of AAP ministers while Delhi was suffering from increased cases of Dengue in Chikungunya.

Shukla, said: “The Ministers are going abroad by spending public money and people of Delhi are suffering.”

Delhi AAP ministers, including CM Arvind Kejriwal, have been facing a lot of criticism because of their absence while the menace of Dengue and Chikunguniya is increasing. Sisodia, who also serves as Education Minister of New Delhi, was in Finland for a work-related visit where he was assessing the education system of the country.
