AMARAVATI: Amid rising COVID-19 cases in the state and lockdown, most of the entrance examinations in Andhra Pradesh have already been postponed. Now, with Prime Minister Narendra Modi extending the lockdown further till May 3rd, AP Higher Education Council has accordingly extended the last date of application for Andhra Pradesh Education Common Entrance Test (EAMCET) till May 7th besides a few other examinations.
Sets special officer Dr Sudheer Reddy has released the notification to this effect. This comes as major relief for many students who may have missed the previous deadline for applying for several most popular common entrance examinations.
As per the notification released by AP Higher Education Council, the last date for the application of all the entrance examinations including EAMCET, ECET, ISET, PGECET and LAWCET has been extended till the 7th of next month.
The registration for the AP Entrance Examinations 2020 started on March 5, 2020 and will be available till May 7, 2020.
