AP Govt Offers Key Post To World Badminton Champion PV Sindhu

AMARAVATI: The Andhra Pradesh government has appointed World Badminton champion PV Sindhu as the Officer on Special Duty (OSD) of Lake View Guest House in Hyderabad. AP Chief Secretary Nilam Sawhney has issued the orders in this regard.

The state government led by Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagna Mohan Reddy has taken this decision as PV Sindhu completed her training period as a Deputy Collector. In July 2017, the Chandrababu Naidu has appointed her as deputy collector and now she is promoted as OSD by the state government.

Earlier, when PV Sindhu had met YS Jagan after her victory at the World championship, the AP state government had offered seven acres of land in Visakhapatnam to her for development of a women’s badminton academy.
