PM Appreciates Spandana Programme

AMARAVATI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has shown keen interest on Spandana programme introduced by Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and has sought details of the programme.

The Prime Minister had visited the state stall during the exhibition held at Vadodara on the occasion of Ekta Diwas and visited the State Stall at the Police Technical Exhibition on Thursday.

G Pala Raju, IPS headed the team from Andhra Pradesh briefed the Prime Minister about the technology being used in the State and has said about Spandana and weekly off for the police.

The Prime Minister has asked to give a note on the Spandana and weekly off which was given, and the weekly off App was downloaded and was shown to him.

He enquired about the Spandana programme and appreciated the programme when told how the petitions are received and disposed of giving a receipt and deadline.

Spandana has been a programme started by Chief Minister where complaints would be received by officials every week and a receipt would be given that the grievance was received and date would be given as to when it will be addressed to in full.

The four-member Police team comprises G Pala Raju IPS DIG Technical Services, his deputy Rakesh Babu AIG, Mahesh DSP and Ravi Kumar Inspector.
