Seats Reserved For Tribal Students In AP Medical Colleges

AMARAVATI: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has announced reservation for tribal students who are pursuing post graduate courses under AYUSH. The promise was made to give reservation during former CM Nara Chandrababu Naidu's regime, which was not fulfilled.

Deputy Chief Minister Pushpa Srivani acted upon this injustice and the party has now decided to provide reservations to the tribal students.

With this decision, one seat in Vijayawada and two seats in Tirupati college have been reserved for tribals.

Tribal medical students expressed their happiness over CM YS Jagan's decision.
