Minister Anil Kumar Yadav Reviews On Flood Situation

AMARAVATI: Irrigation Minister Anil Kumar Yadav instructed the water resource department officials to be vigilant as the flood has been increasing along the Krishna river basin. Minister conducted a video conference with the officials of the Water Resources Department on the prevailing rains and floods in the Krishna basin. Minister also recommended the officials to monitor the flood increase in the irrigation projects across the state due to heavy rains.
“The Krishna river basins should be monitored from time to time due to heavy flooding and People of the lower regions should be alerted,” said Minister. Minister recommended the officials to be alert and assess the impact of floods on all minor irrigation projects across the state.
