23 Buses Seized From JC Diwakar’s Travels Agency
Amaravati: Andhra Pradesh transport department officers seized 23 buses belonging to Former Anantapur MP and TDP senior leader JC Diwakar Reddy's "Diwakar Travels" on Thursday, October 17.
According to the reports, acting on to multiple complaints received on ‘Diwakar Travels,’ transport department officers conducted raids on buses of JC Diwakar Reddy's travels under the inspection of Transport Commissioner Seetharamanjaneyulu and Joint Commissioner Prasad Rao. They have identified and sealed 23 buses that were carrying passengers beyond the limits and overcharging the passengers with high ticket prices.
Transport department officers had also cancelled the permit of 23 buses and filed several cases on "Diwakar Travels" for violating the rules.
Speaking to the media persons, Joint Commissioner Prasad Rao said that they have taken this action after they have received complaints against the "Diwakar Travels", and many cases have been registered on the travel agency for violating the regulations, full Investigation is underway.
