12 Logs Of Raktha Chandanam Recovered, 2 Smugglers Arrested

Tirupati : The Task Force has taken into custody two smugglers who had in their possession 12 logs of what is commonly known as Red Sanders, or red Sandalwood, or Raktha Chandanam. This had taken place in the Ragimanukunta Forest area near Kalyani Damn. This is a place 20km away from Tirupathi.

The arrest happened during a combing operation carried out by the task force. This operation was what led the task force towards the smugglers and the recovery of the 12 logs from the forest area.

An auto that was being used by the smugglers was also confiscated by the task force.
