CM  YS Jagan To Launch YSR Vahana Mitra At Eluru On Oct 4

Amaravati: The Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh YS Jagan Mohan Reddy will launch the YSR Vahana Mitra scheme in Eluru on October 4, and distribute Rs 10,000 financial assistance to auto, taxi and maxi driver/owners.

As per the schedule , YS Jagan will first lay the foundation stone for a Government Medical college at 10:30 in the morning. After laying the foundation stone, he will launch the YSR Vahana Mitra at the indoor stadium grounds in Eluru. As part of the YSR Vahana Mitra scheme the State Government will distribute Rs 10,000 financial assistance to auto, taxi and maxi driver/owners.

The Chief Minister directed the officials to deposit the money in encumbered accounts during the Spandana review meeting held here on Tuesday.

The approved documents of the scheme will be distributed to the beneficiaries under the guidance of the respective district ministers and collectors. “A test run shall be conducted on transferring the amount to these accounts. The money deposit process will begin from October 4 and SMS will be sent to the beneficiaries. The eligible candidates can download the sanction order” said the Chief Minister.

Speaking on ‘Kanti Velugu’ scheme that will be implemented from October 10, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy said that services are not restricted only to government school students but also to cover private school students. He also asked to prepare the data for the same.

42,360 ASHA workers, 62,500 teachers, 14,000 ANMs and 14,000 public health staff are being trained to carry out ‘Kanti Velugu’ scheme. The government will conduct screening for students in the Government schools from October 10 to 16 and the treatment program runs from November 1 to 31.
