Hyderabad: District selection committees sent out call letters to those who have qualified for the AP Grama Sachivalayam exam to the respective district offices on Friday, district selection committees convenor and Panchayati Raj Commissioner Girija Shankar said.

As it is non-interview based, the district wise merit list were sent to the respective districts based on the merit list, he said.

The shortlisted candidates will be informed by mail and they can collect it from the respective district offices. It will be available on the official website, and the candidates can download it from there, the commissioner told a daily.

The selected persons are required to upload the original certificates online before September 23.

However, no call letters were uploaded on the official site gramasachivalayam.ap.gov.in till the filing of this report on Saturday, neither any notification regarding the same been put out on the site.

The AP Grama Sachivalayam exam was held for various posts from September 1 to 8 this year. The answer keys were released later. The AP Grama Sachivalayam exam was conducted to fill up 1,60,801 vacancies for various posts.

After the recruitment, the training of functionaries will begin from September 16 and will be till September 28, 2019.

The AP Grama Sachivalayam will begin work on October 2, 2019.
