AP And South Korea Sign MOU For Skill Development

Andhra Pradesh state educational minister Adimulapu Suresh announced that the State government signed a memorandum of understanding with South Korea to gear up technical and educational training in the state.

Speaking to the media here on Friday the Educational Minister told said that the State has given more preference to the skill development. He also added that skill development centres would be established in every parliamentary constituency in the state. These orders were given by the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh YS Jagan Mohan Reddy.

As a part of the Make in India project, they are planning to set up a development centre for of skill development in AP as there is already a skill development centre in North Korea. South Korea agreed to provide technical assistance to the Skill Development Centers in the state.

The Minister also said that they also have discussed the need to enhance relationships between educational institutions of South Korea and Andhra Pradesh.

He also said that the a South Korean Team had come forward to cooperate on Blockchain Technology. They also came forward to set up a Korean Technology Institute with the help of the Government. He also said that they are seeking technical assistance for incubation centres to be set up in the IIIT's.

They held a discussion on implementing South Korean Policies of Teaching as they Find it more effective.

Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has decided to set up special commissions to improve the standards of primary and higher education in the state, said Education Minister Adimulapu Suresh.
