Amaravati: CM Review Meeting On Grama Sachivalayams

Andhra Pradesh: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy held a review meeting to discuss Grama Sachivalayams as he is propping to make Village Secretariat's available in the state from 2nd October. YS Jagan aims at setting up secretariats at the ward/village levels to ensure that all YSRCP welfare schemes reach the beneficiaries directly.

According to that, YS Jagan has reviewed the extent to which the preparations have been completed for the opening of up of village and ward secretariats on 2 October. Officers informed YS Jagan that they have successfully recruited more than 4 lakh people within a span of four months. Gopalakrishna Dwivedi and Girija Shankar said that every officer has cooperated with them in their own way. YS Jagan congratulated the officers who successfully conducted the Village Secretary Exams.

Gopalakrishna Dwivedi and Girija Shankar further added that they have been providing training for the village volunteers, and said that they are preparing a 1902 call center to report complaints and problems of the people. CM YS Jagan stressed on the need for a special phone number for the village secretariat to respond to the problems of the people. Officials say that they have organised the biggest process for job replacement in the form of village secretaries. Officers further stated that any of the governments have never conducted tests on such a large scale. Officers declared that they will release the results of the exam during the last week of September.

YS Jagan Questions officers over the arrangements of infrastructure facilities in the village/ward Sachivalayams, he made it clear to the officers that they should equip The Sachivalayams in such a way that it should provide a solution for the issue of the people within 72 hours. There should also be a data center in the village and ward secretaries and the information gathered should be summarized.

Ys Jagan further made it clear to the officers that the village secretariat should be connected to the Grama secretariat, and there should be a system to alert the concerned secretary from the village secretariat. MRO or MDO, Collector, as well as the Secretary of the concerned Department should stay connected with village secretariat.

YS Jagan reviews the duties assigned to the employees of the Grama, Ward Sachivalayam as per the Job Chart. The village and ward secretariat employee should be fully supportive to the people in the tasks assigned to them.

YS Jagan asks the officers to continuously keep monitoring on the village, ward secretariats and village volunteer systems as it is very important, and it is impossible to get the fruitful results from any of the department without monitoring them. To make 4 lakh people have better work conditions is top priority of the government.

YS Jagan suggests the officers bring all the latest technology for the village, ward secretariats and volunteer systems for the best working of them. Officers say that they have completed a volunteer survey and Identified the beneficiaries of the housing scheme. YS Jagan question officers over the selection of eligible candidates for YSR Rythu Bharosa scheme. Officers replied to YS Jagan that they have been working on it. YS Jagan asked them to speed up the process.

YS Jagan orders the officers that Social checks should be carried out in village secretaries on government schemes and beneficiaries' choice and the list of beneficiaries must be kept in the Grama, Ward Secretariats.

YS Jagan asks the officers to make sure that the village, ward secretariat buildings have similar structure and infrastructure facilities. There should be arrangements for conducting a workshop for farmers in each village secretariat and there should also be a shop for farmers to make quality fertilizer and seeds available.

YS Jagan Instructs the Officers to educate the farmers on natural and organic farming policies and he also added that they are not supposed to refuse any scheme for technical reasons. He further asks the officers to provide all the welfare schemes to beneficiaries in a fair and transparent manner.

YS Jagan says that if the fingerprints are not correct they can opt for video screening, and immediately have beneficiaries get benefits of the various schemes.

YS Jagan Reviews the Implementation of Welfare schemes and concluded asking the officers to make arrangements for the distribution of pension by December.
