AP Grama Sachivalayam Off To A Successful Start

Amaravati: Andhra Pradesh Grama/Ward Sachivalayam will be conducting written examination for various posts across the state from today i.e., on Sunday, September 1, 2019. The examinations will be held from September 1 to September 8. The first day of the examination had commenced at 10 am in the morning today.

According to the Officer's report, 15 lakhs candidates have appeared in the examination on the first day. Another 6 lakhs candidates are expected to write the exam between 3rd September and 8th September. The examination is being conducted across 4,478 centers in the state.

The written examinations for Panchayat Secretary Grade V, Ward Women and Weaker Sections Protection Secretary (Mahila Police), Welfare and Education Secretary (Rural) and Ward Administrative Secretary will be conducted in the morning sessions while examination for Panchayat Secretary Grade VI - Digital Assitant will be held in the afternoon sessions.

Section 144 is being imposed around the examination centers to prevent any improper or untowardly acts. Around 500 APSRTC buses are arranged for the candidates to reach the examination centers with ease. Help-desks are also arranged at various public places like bus stands, railway stations, etc. for the candidates who are appearing in the examination.

Also, candidates who clear the examination will be joining duties from October 2nd.
