AP Govt Warns Against False News

Amaravati: The Andhra Pradesh government came out strongly against the media houses spreading canards by the way of publishing "false news".

In a press statement issued by the Principal Secretary on Tuesday, the State government condemned the reports that investments are moving out of AP, reports which have been doing rounds for last few days. A warning has been issued to media outlets which intentionally publish false news to defame and malign the government and the State.

Further, the statement clarified that the State government was making all-out efforts to attract investments into the State by working towards creating a corrupt-free and transparent ecosystem to provide a hassle-free environment for those wanting to set up their firms in the State.
