Simhachalam Trek Turns Fatal For Sabbavaram Woman

Visakhapatnam: In a ghastly incident, a woman died after being struck by a boulder while she was trekking to the Simhachalam temple with her colleague who got severe injuries here on Wednesday. Later she was identified as Bhavani (28) of Sabbavaram, Visakhapatnam district.

Bhavani and her colleague Jagadeeswari were employees of a local private company. On Wednesday morning they were going to the hill shrine on foot when and were climbing the steps to the Simhachalam temple when they were hit by a boulder which had been kept aside during widening of the path of the steps to the temple.
