Kavali Man Impregnates Own Daughter
Kavali: In a shocking incident a father sexually harassed his own daughter and impregnated her. According to the police, Karra Balaraju of Hanumakonda Village under Brahmanakaka Panchayat in Jaladanki Mandal was working as a daily wage labourer. He had a wife and son. Later, Balaraju, married another woman as his wife became ill. They have a son and a daughter. His daughter from his second wife is studying tenth grade. Balaraju had been forcing himself on his daughter since last May. The matter however, was concealed by the girl's family. After she fell sick, the girl was taken to Kavali Govt. Hospital where the doctor after conducting medical tests, declared that she was pregnant.
Having come to know of this, Kavali DSP D Prasad rushed to the hospital and questioned the girl's family members in the matter. In reply, they said evasively that one person sexually assaulted her when she went to the outskirts of the village. Police enquired about his father who had already fled from the hospital. After this incident police filed a case against Balaraju and started an investigation.
