Man Held For Cheating Woman Through Facebook…

Kadapa: The Kadapa police arrested a man for cheating a woman by promising to marry her. On Friday SC, STL, DSP N Sudhakar Reddy arrested Rupsagar of Pulivendula Mandal for the crime. At the press meet he said that the victim belongs to Kadapa rural area that she had become friends Rupsagar, belonging to Kadapa, on Facebook. She spoke to him regarding marriage after being in touch with him for a while. After that they fell love with each other, he promised to marry her.

However, the victim came to know he was lying and asked him about marriag. He then reveled that he was not interested in getting married to her as they did not belong to same caste and he also revealed that he had already been married before. So, the depressed girl attempted suicide. Based on the victim’s complaint, police registered a case and took the accused into custody. At the press meet district SP Mahanthi said, “The man is presented in the Pulivendula court and he will be on remand until the August 2”.
