1. No Change In AP EAMCET Counselling Schedule, Clarifies Adimulapu Suresh

The Andhra Pradesh Eamcet counselling will be held from tomorrow, July 3, as per schedule. There would be no changes in the counselling process, Education Minister Adimulapu Suresh clarified. Speaking to press persons here on Tuesday, he informed that the State government would come out with more clarity on reservations and fee structure soon.

A youth infatuated with a girl tried to set fire to her friend's house. Vamsi, a student of intermediate, had been harassing his classmate for some time. The girl confided in her friend, whose family was known to Vamsi's. The grandmother of the girl's friend, Kamala Kumari, admonished the boy for harassing her granddaughter's friend. Angered by this, a vengeful Vamsi, resorted to arson. He poured petrol and tried to set fire to Kamala Kumari's house, resulting in damage to several articles in the house.

4. AP Advisor For IT, Electronics And Communication Appointed

The Government of Andhra Pradesh has appointed K Raja Shekhar Reddy as the Advisor, IT (Policy and Investment) for Information Technology, Electronics and Communication. As per the Go issued by the Principal Secretary Anoop Kumar, his tenure would be for three years.
