YS Jagan Recalls Services Of YSRCP Former Advisor DA Somayajulu 

Vijayawada: Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy described YSRCP former advisor late DA Somayajulu as his ''Guru", who rendered yeoman service to YSR Congress party.

YS Jagan attended a special event organised by Somayajulu's family on occasion of his 67th birth anniversary here on Monday.

Speaking on the occasion, YS Jagan said Somayajulu was a walking encyclopedia who had knowledge about every issue and took classes for every one of them in the party.

"As a teacher, he gave me valuable insights and inputs. When I first entered Assembly in 2014, he was the man behind all my speeches," he recalled his association with Somayajulu.

Somayajulu served as economic advisor to the State government when YS Rajasekhara Reddy was the chief minister. He passed away in last year May undergoing treatment. Currently, Somayajulu's son Krishna serves as special secretary to Chief Minister YS Jagan.
