Amaravati: Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has decided to visit Polavaram on the 20th of this month to inspect the works of the Polavaram project . He will hold a review meeting with officials on head-works (reservoir), right and left connections (connectivity), navigation canal, power project, progress of right and left canals, land acquisition and rehabilitation of residents. The work accomplished so far will be guided to seek protection from the Godavari flood and provide relief to the residents without any hassle.

CM YS Jagan will focus on completing the Polavaram project on a battlefield basis based on the findings of his observations at the field level. Minister of Water Resources Dr. Anil Kumar Yadav will arrive at the Polavaram project on the 19th to monitor the arrangements ahead of the Chief Minister's visit.
