Director Mahi V Raghav who already made up his mind to bring out a sequel on his blockbuster Yatra, which chronicles the experiences of former chief minister YS Rajasekhara Reddy during his legendary Pada Yatra that stormed him into power, revealed as what to expect from Yatra – 2.

Disclosing what’s in the store in his upcoming film, director Raghav took to Twitter and said: “YSR’S story is incomplete without Y.S. Raja reddy & Y.S.Jagan. Yatra 2 will complete their story. The reason why Yatra ended on Y.S. Jagan is we could take it off from where we left. YSR’s Yatra started from his father grave and Jagan’s Yatra from his father’s #yatra2 @ShivaMeka.”

Likewise, the sequel will feature and present YS Raja Reddy, the father of former chief minister YS Rajasekhara Reddy and his son chief minister-elect YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. In all, the movie spans across three generations and life times. While Rajasekhara Reddy’s ‘Pada Yatra’ was showcased in the first part, the second part will mostly chronicle YS Jagan journey and political upheavals that he has faced in nine-year period after the death of his father to his becoming the chief minister of Andhra Pradesh.
